COSmino is Kuba Pierzchalski and Rachel Karafistan. The company has been making theatre since 1998 and has been based in the UK and Poland and is now based in Berlin, Germany.

Rachel Karafistan: Co Artistic Director Rachel is a British performer, teacher and director based in Berlin. in 2001 she completed her PhD research into Shamanic dimensions within contemporary theatre practice and has published her work in NTQ. Rachel trained extensively with a wide range of theatre practitioners and companies including Odin Teatret, Kathryn Hunter and Philippe Gaulier and was an actor with internationally acclaimed Polish company, Teatr Biuro Podra?y from 2000 – 2003.

Kuba Pierzchalski: Co Artistic Director Kuba was reared on Polish alternative theatre and trained with Teatr Ósmego Dnia (Theatre of the Eighth Day), Teatr Porywacze Cia? (Body Snatchers Theatre) and was an actor with Teatr Biuro Podra (Theatre Travel Agency) from 1997 2003 and toured with the company across six continents. “
