Can someone tell a story without words? Isn't a pantomime just something like a clown?
It is JOMI?s request to give an answer to those other similar questions.
From his point of view a pantomime is engaged to manifest social criticism as he uses a non – linguistic form of expression which is known all over the world. This is the reason that JOMI has selected a large part of his repertoire to political and social themes, including religious scenes. Besides are also satirical scenes, because he does not want his audience to forget how to laugh.
His art does not only lie in the precision of his performance but also in the ability to enliven the most different characters, thus casting his spell on the viewer again and again.
